AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON PREZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED OUTSIDE THE CITY AND
AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS :
(' Section 1 . That certain property located outside
the City of Carson, described in Exhibit A attached hereto,
is hereby prezoned to the MH (Manufacturing, Heavy) zoned
district.
Section 2. That certain property located outside
the City of Carson, described in Exhibit B attached hereto,
is hereby prezoned to the CG-D (Commercial , General-Design
Overlay) zoned district.
Section 3 . That certain property located outside
the City of Carson, described in Exhibit C attached hereto,
is hereby prezoned to the CC-D (Commercial , General-Design
Overlay) zoned district.
Section 4 . That certain property located outside
the City of Carson, described in Exhibit D attached hereto,
is hereby prezoned to the CG-D (Commercial , General-Design
Overlay) zoned district.

Section 5 . That certain property located outside
the City of Carson, described in Exhibit E attached hereto,
is hereby prezoned to the MH (Manufacturing, Heavy) zoned
district.
Section 6 . The Zoning Map of the City of Carson
as adopted by Section 9114 . 1 of the Carson Municipal Code is
hereby amended by prezoning the property described in
Exhibits A - E as is indicated in Sections 1 - 5 hereof, and j
said Map shall have noted thereon for each of the aforesaid
properties, "Amended to
Section 7. The City Clerk is directed to enter
the date of adoption of this ordinance in the appropriate
space in Section 6 hereinabove.

that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 79-499, passed first reading on
December 3rd, 1979 , was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said
City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 3rd day of
March, 1980 , and that the some was passed and adopted by the following
roll call vote:

Legal Description
All the real properties in Carson northeast area, County of Los
Angeles , State of California, within the following described properties :
Commencing at a point in the east boundary line of the City of
Carson, 202 feet, more or less , southerly of the Victoria Street ,
100 feet wide, said point also an angle point in the boundary of the
City of Compton as same existed October 1979 ; thence 421 . 13 feet , more
or less , thence southerly 306 . 21 , thence easterly 621 . 52 feet, thence
southerly 475. 70 feet, thence south - easterly 362 . 55 feet, thence
easterly 197 . 82 feet, thence southerly 574 . 42 feet, thence easterly
1214 . 41 feet, thence northerly 417 . 06 feet, more or less , to the
centerline of East Victoria Street, 100 feet wide, all measured
along the boundary line of said City of Compton; thence easterly
along the centerline of said East Victoria Street and its prolonga-
tion to the easterly line 8f the Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way

Commencing at a point in the westerly line of Laurel Park .Road,

Commencing at an angle point of the southern boundary line of the
City of Compton and the easterly line of Pacific Electric Railway right-
of-way, 120 feet wide ; thence southerly along the easterly line of said
Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way to its point of intersection with
the prolongation of the centerline of said East Victoria Street, 100
feet wide; thence westerly along the centerline of said East Victoria
Street to its point of intersection with the westerly line of said
200 acre Tract; thence northerly in a direct line along the westerly
line of said 200 acre Tract and the westerline of said 19 . 43 acre Tract
to the southerly boundary line of the City of Compton; thence easterly,

Commencing at an angle point of the northerly line of the 200 acre
tract and the easterly line of Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way;
thence easterly along said northerly line of said 200 acre tract and
its prolongation to the centerline of South Alameda Street; thence
southerly along said centerline of said South Alameda Street to its
intersection of the prolongation of the centerline of East Victoria
Street, 100 feet wide ; thence westerly along said prolongation of
Victoria Street centerline to its intersection of the easterly line
of said Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way; thence northerly along
easterly line of said Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way to the
point of beginning.

its intersection with the centerline of South Alameda Street; thence
southerly along said centerline of South Alameda Street to its inter-
section with the prolongation of the east boundary line of Pacific
Electric Railway right-of-way in a direct line ; thence northerly along
said prolongation and the east boundary line of Pacific Electric Rail-
way right-of-way to the point of beginning.
