A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ERICKSON -HALL CONSTRUCTION
CO. TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT FOR A TERM CONCURRENT
WITH THE PROJECT TIMELINE
WHEREAS, on October 1, 2013, the City Council approved an Annex and City
Hall Renovation Project CIP No. 4011.67.011 (Project) with an approved project budget
of $7,429,400; and
WHEREAS, on January 1, 2014, the City Council approved an Agreement with
Erickson -Hall Construction Co. in a not to exceed amount of $90,900 to provide
Construction Manager At -Risk Services; and
WHEREAS, the Project timeline and Project scope have changed since the
execution of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement with Erickson -Hall is set to expire in June 2015; and
WHEREAS, to align the Project timeline with the Agreement termination date an
amendment to the Agreement is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves to extend the Agreement with
Erickson -Hall.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the
amendment to the Agreement with Erickson -Hall in a form approved by the City
Attorney.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
