A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH MUNITEMPS TO EXTEND THE
TERM OF THE AGREEMENT AND INCREASE COMPENSATION UNDER THE
AGREEMENT BY $108,420 FOR TEMPORARY STAFFING SERVICES FOR AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $153,620
WHEREAS, on November 4, 2014, the City Council approved an agreement with
MuniTemps to provide temporary staffing services for the Finance & Administration
Department due to resignation of one of the Administrative Analyst II positions
(reclassified to Financial Analyst); and
WHEREAS, the agreement is set to expire on June 30, 2015; and
WHEREAS, due to the current vacancy of the Financial Analyst, continued
temporary staffing is needed; and
WHEREAS, staff is seeking authorization to amend the agreement to extend the
term of the services and to obtain staffing services to also include function of the
department's vacant Accounting & Auditing Supervisor.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the amended
agreement for temporary staffing services with MuniTemps, with a not -to- exceed
amount of $152,620, approved as to form by the City Attorney.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager or designee to
adjust the budget and appropriate the funds as follows:
$108,420 from Salary and Benefit
Expenditure Line Items Based on
Salary Allocation
Professional /Contractual
Services
to (1011.30.275.62015)
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
