No. 19 -159 Date of Adoption September 1 9, 2019 AWARDING BID FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR POLICE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES WHEREAS, the Borough has publicly advertised for the receipt of bids for Consultant Services for Police Department Policies and Procedures Update and Accreditation by New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police; and WHEREAS, the Borough has solicited and received one (1) bid proposal as follows: 1. The Rodgers Group, LLC. $ 39,900.00 WHEREAS, The Rodgers Group, LLC has submitted the lowest bid for said contract as evidenced by the response on file with the Borough's Purchasing Department; and WHEREAS, the proposal has been reviewed and it is recommended that the contract be awarded to The Rodgers Group, LLC, in a total amount not to exceed $39,900.00; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. Acct.# 9 - Of --- 1 5 - 15D - NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret as follows: 1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with The Rodgers Group, LLC, of Island Heights, N.J. for Consultant Services for Police Department Policies and Procedures Update and Accreditation Services as described above for the sum of $39,900.00 in accordance in all respects with the request for proposals and bid on same. 2. That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department, the Borough Law Director and the Chief of Police. 3. That the aforementioned award of bid is contingent upon formal approval from the New Jersey Department of Labor, Division of Wage and Hour Compliance.
