AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON
AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE WITH
RESPECT TO REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES OF
CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS INCURRED IN
PERFORMANCE OF OFFICIAL DUTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
read: Section 1. Section 2300 of the Carson Municipal Code is amended to
"2300. Councilmembers - Expenses. The City Council having found
and determined that the minimum expenses actually and necessarily incurred by
each City Councilmember in performance of official duty at least equal the sum
of $300.00 per month, reimbursement therefor shall be made by the City at the
end of each calendar month without the necessity of presentation of an itemized
accounting, receipts, vouchers or other documentation. Such reimbursement for
regular actual and necessary expenses do not include expenditures which may be
incurred in seminars, municipal officer meetings outside of the City, trips to
Sacramento, Washington or other Locations on City business, and in order to obtain
reimbursement for expenses actually and necessarily incurred in connection with
any such trips duly authorized by the City Council, or Agency, receipts, vouchers
or other itemized accountings shall be presented therefor."

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 86-764 passed first reading
on 17th day of November, 1986, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said, City at a regular meeting of said Council , duly and regularly held on the
8th day, of December , 19 86 , and that the same was passed and adopted by the
following roll call vote:
