AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON CONSENTING
TO THE ASSIGNMENT, TRANSFER AND CONVEYANCE BY
CHEVIOT HILLS PIPELINE COMPANY TO ATLANTIC
RICHFIELD COMPANY OF THAT CERTAIN FRANCHISE
FACILITY, KNOWN AS LINE NO. 211, PREVIOUSLY
OPERATED UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 8247 OF THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 131
of Ordinance No. 7468 which is incorporated by reference in
Ordinance No. 8247, as adopted by the County of Los Angeles, the
City Council hereby consents to the assignment, transfer and
conveyance by Cheviot Hills Pipeline Company to Atlantic
Richfield Company of that certain franchise facility, known as
Line No. 211, and all rights and privileges pertaining thereto,
which assignment, transfer and conveyance was consummated on or
about March 26, 1982 .
Section 2 . The following pipes and pipelines shall
continue to be subject to all of the terms and provisions of
Ordinance No. 8247 until its expiration or termination: Line No.
215. -
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of

I, Helen S. Rawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 87-790 passed first reading
on May 5, 1987, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at
a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 18th day, of
May , 19 _Ql_, and that the same was passed and adopted by the following roll
call vote:
