AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON
AMENDING SECTION 3101, CHAPTER 1,
ARTICLE III OF THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO FIREWORKS REGULATION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subparagraph (a) of Section 3101. 3 of
hapter 1, Article III of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby
.mended in its entirety to read as follows:
" (a) Application for a license shall be made by
filing with the Finance Department a written appli-
cation in the form required herein, not earlier than
March 1 nor later than April 1 of the year for which a
license is sought. "
Section 2 . The first sentence of Section 3101. 4 of
Chapter 1, Article III of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby
amended in its entirety to read as follows:
"Applicants for such license shall be notified by
the Finance Department of the acceptance or rejection
of such application for a license on or before
April 7. "
Section 3 . Subparagraph (b) of Section 3101. 5 of
7hapter 1, Article III of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby
amended in its entirety to read as follows:
" (b) On or before March 1 the licensee shall file
a report with the Business License Division giving a
description of such service project together with an

accounting of the funds derived from the sale of
fireworks for the previous year. "

day, of FFeebr'uary 19 88 , and that the same was passed and adopted by the
following roll call vote:
