AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON RELATING
TO VESTING TENTATIVE MAPS, AMENDING THE
SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE AND AMENDING THE
CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Part 8 of Chapter 2, Article IX of the
Carson Municipal Code is amended by amending Sections 9208.3 and
9208 .4 (x) of the Subdivision Ordinance to read:
9208.3 Definition of Vesting Tentative Map.
A "vesting tentative map" shall mean a tentative
map for a subdivision, as defined in this Chapter that
shall have printed conspicuously on its face the words
"Vesting Tentative Map" at the time it is filed in
accordance with Section 9208.4 of this Chapter, and is
thereafter processed in accordance with the provisions
of this Part and the Subdivision Map Act.
9208.4 Application.
(a) Whenever a provision of the Subdivision Map
Act or this Title requires the filing of a tentative
map or tentative parcel map :br a subdivision, a
vesting tentative map may instead be filed, in
accordance with the provisions of this Part.

June 5, 1990, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a
regular meeting of said Council , duly and regularly held on the 19th day of June, 1990,
and that the same was passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
