AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA,
RELATING TO CITY COUNCIL ORGANIZATION AND
AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Code Amendment. Section 2403.A (Regular Meetings) of Chapter 4
(City Offices; Council Chambers; Meetings) of Article II (Administration) of the Carson
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"A. Regular Meetings. Regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on
the first and third Tuesday of each month at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or if
any such day is on a holiday, then the meeting scheduled on such day
shall be held on the next succeeding day which is not a holiday. At the
second regular meeting in April of each year, except as otherwise
provided by law, the Council shall organize and select a Mayor Pro
Tempore."
Section 2. Certification and Posting. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be posted in the manner
prescribed by law.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby certify that the
whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing ordinance,
being Ordinance No. 95-1053, passed first reading on April 11, 1995, was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held
on the 2nd day of May, 1995, and that the same was passed and adopted by the following role call
vote:
