ORDINANCE NO. 99-1174
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA,
REPEALING THE RECREATION REVOLVING FUND—SPECIAL
EVENTS AND AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Findings. The City Council finds that the Recreation Revolving Fund—
Special Events, also known as the Self Supporting Fund, should be consolidated with the
General Fund. This consolidation will provide for more accurate reporting of the operating
results and financial condition of the General Fund.
Section 2. Disposition of Fund. Effective July 1, 1999, the Recreation Revolving
Fund—Special Events shall be consolidated with the General Fund. All residual balances
for programs within the Recreation Revolving Fund—Special Events shall be transferred
to and consolidated with the General Fund balance.
Section 3. Code Amendment. Section 2520 (Recreation Revolving Fund—Special
Events) and Section 2521 (Same—Expenditure) of Chapter 5 (City Funds and Records),
Article II (Administration) of the Carson Municipal Code are hereby repealed.

Ordinance No. 99-1174, passed first reading on November 2, 1999 was duly and regularly adopted by the
City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 16th day of
November, 1999, and that the same was passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
