AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON DESIGNATING PUBLIC PLACES FOR
F f THE POSTING OF AGENDAS AND NOTICES,AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL
s CODE AND DECLARING AN URGENCY THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Carson Municipal Code, Article II, Chapter 8, Section 2800, is amended to read as
follows:
2800. Public Places for Posting Agendas and Notices The following are officially designated
as public places for the posting of all ordinances, resolutions, agendas, or notices adopted or issued by
the City in all cases where posting is provided for by laws:
1. Los Angeles County Regional Library at Carson

Section 2. This Ordinance is being enacted as urgency ordinance pursuant to Government Code
Sections 36934 and 36937. The Council hereby finds and determines the immediate enactment of this

the City of Carson. Enactment of this ordinance on an urgency basis will enable the agenda for Council and

commission meetings to be posted in a safe location accessible to the public on a 24-hour, seven-day per week
basis. Currently the agendas are posted in several libraries and City facilities and are available seven days per
week, but not during the period from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am."
