AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 63153 OF
ARTICLE VI, CHAPTER 3, PART 5 OF THE CARSON
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PERMIT FEES
FOR WASTE DISPOSAL SITES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 63153 of Article VI, Chapter 3, Part 5 of the Carson Municipal
Code is amended by adding to that section a third paragraph to read as follows:
"Notwithstanding the provisions of this Section 63153, the
imposition and payment of the annual permit fee shall be suspended
during any calendar year, or portion thereof, in which a person operating a
waste disposal site, which includes a transfer station, is obligated under an
agreement with the City to pay a fee that is based upon the tonnage of
solid waste delivered to that waste disposal site."
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to certify to the passage and adoption of this
ordinance and to cause it to be published or posted as required by law.

number of members of the City Council of said City is four; that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 03-1292, passed first reading on July 15, 2003, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of
said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 5th day of August, 2003, and
that the same was passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
