A meeting of the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret was called to
order by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at
approximately 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers, Memorial
Municipal Building, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
Upon Individual Roll Call, the following were noted present:
Conunissioner James A. Failace
" Frank James, Jr.
Mayor Daniel J. Reiman
Also noted present was Carmela Pogorzelski in the absence of
Kathleen M. Barney, Board Secretary.
Noted absent was Robert J. Bergen, Esq., Board Attorney.
The meeting was opened with a minute of silent prayer and the Pledge
of Allegiance led by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman.
The Notice of today's meeting was sent to The Home News Tribune
and The Star Ledger and posted on the bulletin board on July 17, 2019.
Notice was published in The Home News Tribune and The Star
Ledger on July 21, 2019.
The purpose of the meeting was to approve liquor license
renewals /transfers and any other business that may come before the
Board.
Minutes for Approval — June 10 & June 25, 2019.
Upon MMS &C by Commissioners James and Failace and unanimous
affirmative vote of the full membership present, the Minutes of June
10 & 25, 2019 were approved as transcribed and engrossed by the
Clerk.

Open to Public Upon MMS &C, by Commissioners Failace and James and unanimous
affirmative vote of the full membership present, the meeting was
opened to the public.
There being no comments or objections, upon MMS &C, by
Closed to Public Commissioners Failace and James and unanimous affirmative vote of
the full membership present, the meeting was closed to the public.
Mayor Reiman said these are both pocket licenses.
Resolution #11 -19 Resolution #I1 -19 was introduced by the Mayor and referred to the
Special Ruling Board for action.
Renewal, Waves of
Wine, LLC Upon MMS &C, by Commissioners James and Failace
RESOLUTION #11 -19
"APPROVING RENEWAL OF A.B.C. LICENSE
#1201 -33 -061 -013 HELD BY WAVES OF WINE, LLC, FOR THE
2019 -2020 LICENSE TERM PURSUANT TO SPECIAL RULING"
Adopted was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote, Mayor Reiman,
Commissioners Failace and James voted in the affirmative.
Resolution #12 -19 Resolution 412 -19 was introduced by the Mayor and referred to the
Special Ruling Board for action.

Padem Upon MMS &C, by Commissioners James and Failace
RESOLUTION #12 -19
"APPROVING RENEWAL OF A.B.C. LICENSE
#1201 -33- 032 -013 HELD BY PATEL PADEM FOR THE 2019 -2020
LICENSE TERM PURSUANT TO SPECIAL RULING"
was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote, Mayor Reiman,
Adopted Commissioners Failace and James voted in the affirmative.

There being no finther comments or discussion, upon MMS &C, by Adjourned
Commissioners James and Fallace and unanimous affirmative vote of
the fiill membership present, the meeting was adjourned at
approximately 9:34 a.m.
