ABC BOARD MEETING
A meeting of the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret was called MEETING CALLED TO
to order by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman, on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, ORDER
at approximately 9:30 A.M. in the Council Chambers, Memorial Municipal
Building, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
Upon individual Roll Cali, the following were noted present: ROLL CALL
Mayor Daniel J. Reiman
Commissioner James Failace
Commissioner Frank James, Jr.
Also noted present was Kathleen M. Barney, Board Secretary NOTED PRESENT
and Robert J. Bergen, Board Attorney.
The meeting was opened with a minute of silent prayer and the SILENT PRAYER/
Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman. PLEDGE OF
ALLEGIANCE
The Notice of today's meeting was sent to the Home News Tribune STATEMENT OF
and The Star Ledger and posted on the Bulletin Board on June 13, MEETING NOTICE
2019. Notice was published in the Home News Tribune and The
Star Ledger on June 18, 2019.
The purpose of the meeting was to approve liquor license PURPOSE OF THE
Renewals and any other business that may come before the Board. MEETING

Mayor Reiman stated that they need to review the minutes so upon
MMS &C, by Commissioners Failace and James and unanimous affirmative TABLED
vote of the full membership present, the Minutes of June 10, 2019 were
Tabled.

Upon MMS &C, by Commissioners Failace and James and
unanimous affirmative vote of the full membership present, the OPEN TO THE
meeting was opened to the public. PUBLIC
There being no comments or objections, upon MMS &C, by
Commissioners Failace and James and unanimous affirmative CLOSED TO THE
vote of the full membership present, the meeting was closed to the PUBLIC
public.

1. #08 -19 Resolution Approving the Renewal of Inactive ABC License

RENEWALS
Upon MMS &C, by Commissioners James and Failace and unanimous
affirmative vote, the resolutions were adopted. Upon individual roll call
vote, Mayor Reiman, Commissioners Failace and James voted in the ADOPTED
affirmative.
There being no further discussion, upon MMS &C by Commissioner
James and Failace and unanimous vote of the full membership
present, the meeting adjourned at approximately 9:35 A.M.
