Lockport Street Attendees: Greg Schaefer, Michael Blaylock, Pat Harbour, Michael Konrad, Troy Strange, and Mike Paris. Also: Michael Garrigan, Jonathan Proulx, Rick Kaczanko, and Amy De Boni. The meeting was called to order at 7:36 a.m. Tim Stetenfeld, Steve Preze, Brian Davis, John Harper, Harold Oliver, and Brian Murphy were absent. Public Comments: None. Business Meeting Amy De Boni explained that the Village flyer that was distributed was created by Rick Kaczanko for RECon. Motion was made by Michael Blaylock, second by Mike Paris and Troy Strange, to approve the minutes of the March 9, 2011 Meeting. Motion passed (6 ‐0). Jon Proulx opened the discussion regarding the Business Retention and Expansion Plan. The Task Force then discussed sections of the plan including Business Support Services and Business Retention Outreach. The Business License process, business survey, and retention visits were also discussed. Jon then highlighted that the plan would be presented to the Village Board at an upcoming meeting. Rick Kaczanko highlighted the Business Inventory List provided to the Task Force. The Task Force requested additional information. Village Staff highlighted the preparations for RECon as well as the program offered for local businesses on April 6th. The Task Force will discuss the business survey and a list of standardized questions for business retention visits at the next meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
