Lockport Street Attendees: Tim Stetenfeld, Michael Blaylock, Greg Schaefer, Troy Strange, Steve Preze, Brian Davis, Harold Oliver, and Michael Konrad. Also: Brian Murphy, Michael Garrigan, Jonathan Proulx, Rick Kaczanko, and Amy De Boni. The meeting was called to order at 3:18 p.m. Pat Harbour, Dan O’Donnell, and Mike Paris were absent. Public Comments: Brian Davis announced the addition to Edward Hospital’s Naperville Campus. They are still committed to building a hospital in Plainfield but need to add beds to the Naperville Campus. Business Meeting Motion was made by Greg Schaefer, second by Brian Davis, to approve the minutes of the October 12, 2011 Meeting. Motion passed (8 ‐0). Amy De Boni highlighted the business seminars that the Village will be offering in conjunction with Joliet Junior College and the Illinois Small Business Development Center. These seminars were a follow ‐up to the business consultation program offered earlier in the year. The Village will be offering two seminars: How To Get Free Publicity in March and Creating A Web Site in June. Amy also mentioned the new/updated information (included with packet) that Buxton provided regarding the Route 59 and 135 th Street site. The information is consistent with the demographics and leakage reported for the other Plainfield sites. Michael Garrigan opened the discussion regarding the Business Attraction Plan and the Task Force provided feedback and asked questions regarding the target audience, other tools that could be employed, and the business incubator. Jon Proulx updated the Task Force on projects that have been heard by the Plan Commission including the Physicians Immediate Care, several commercial projects, and the apartment development on 127 th Street. The meeting adjourned at 5:03 p.m.
