December 14 1940.
Council met in special session, .Mayor Ross presiding and
councilmen, Haack- Kruse Okones Lindeman present;
The well driller Hoed; � Ames report that evidently, as was
understood by the council, there was a leakage of the stream
of water from the old well vein into the new well, an effort
had been made to seal this vein into the ne�.v well, that they
had. made considerable effort to stop this leakage, but it would
require more time.
After duly considering the matter, it was found. adviseable
that this be suspended for the time being, so that the new well
can be put in operation more quickly, and that after the old
well had been repaired, Hoeg & Ames would then later seal the
leakage into the New well as before mentioned.
It was moved by Kruse seconded by Haack that the above
consideration be accepted. Motion carried.
There being no fury.-.er business Council adjourned.

Special Meetin�;-
Council met in special session, D.Qayor Ross presiding and
councilmen- Kruse- Luwe, Lindeman and Okones present-.
The meeting was called for the purpose of considering
the purchase of Turbine Pump for the New well -
There were three firms ,represented in person who
were given a hearing on the qualities of the Pump each represented.
The following Pump mfgrs were given a. hearing.
�,4f: Tongate- representing the COOK pump
Mr Gaston- representing the DENNING purnp�;
Mr Clemons- representing the FAIRBANKS-MOrse pump
Each of the above left a proposal of the coat of their PUDIIP
wit�z the council.
After listening to the various qualities of each Pump,marax as each
represenativessSia was given a seperate hearing , the council adjourned
'to Dec 17th at 7:00 oclock P.?t�i.

Being a continuat'on of the consideration of getting a
New PUIU4P .
The Peerless CO vas represented at this meeting by letter
also quotation on price of their PUMP.
After careful and duly considering and reviewing the
merits of all PUI��S so far represented to the council, it
was moved that a tiYater Lubric2.tion Turbine PUL�'P be considered.
motion carried.
It was moved by Lu��re second. by Kruse, that Itsr Clemons
of the Fairi���nks-I�:gorse Co be notified. to meet with the council
on Dec 18 at 7; 39 oclock P.DC. motion carried.
