APPOINTING A MUNICIPAL PUBLIC DEFENDER
FOR TH E BOROUGH OF CARTERET
WHEREAS, there is a need for a Municipal Public Defender in the Borough of
Carteret; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough to make said appointment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor
and Council of the Borough of Carteret that
Desmond Abazia
be and is hereby appointed to the position of Municipal Public Defender, effective
January 1, 1998, term to expire December 3 l, 1998.
Adopted this ! st day of January, 1998
and certified as a true copy of the
original on January 2, 1998.
