SPECIAL JOINT CITY/COUNTY WORKSHOP MEETING
November 19, 2010
The Moab City Council held a Special Joint Moab City/Grand County
Workshop Meeting on the above date in the Council Chambers of the
Grand County Courthouse, located at 125 East Center Street, Moab,
Utah. Mayor David L. Sakrison called the Workshop to order at 11:14
AM. In attendance were Councilmembers Jeffrey Davis, Kyle Bailey,
Kirstin Peterson and Sarah Bauman; City Manager Donna Metzler, City
Recorder/Assistant City Manager Rachel Ellison, Community
Development Director David Olsen, Planning Director Jeff Reinhart and
Public Works Director Jeff Foster. Fifteen members of Grand County
Staff, Elected Officials and the audience were present.
Councilmember Peterson moved to approve the 2011 Community
Development Block Grant Project for the Small Cities Program for the
Year 2011. Councilmember Bailey seconded the motion. The motion
carried 4-0 aye.
City Manager Metzler made a presentation regarding City/County
Owned property near Sandflats Road. Discussion followed.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the meeting at 1:10 PM.
