The Town Council of the Town of Wellsburg, Iowa, met
in ��.� session in the Council Chambers in
the Town Hall at _7,,� U o'clock �M. on the above
date. There were present Mayor � ,
in the chair, and the following named Councilmen:

Councilman ��=���_ introduced the
following Resolution entitled "RESOLUTION ORDERING
CONSTRUCTION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND OUTFACE SEWER
AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON AND TAKING OF BIDS
THEREFOR", and moved that the same be adapted. Councilman

Whereupon the Mayor declare the following Resolution
duly adopted:

RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF
SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND OUTFACE
SEWER AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING
THEREON AND TAKING OF BIDS THEREFOR
WHEREAS, this Council deems it advisable and
necessary to construct a Sewage Treatment Plant and
outfall sewer and has caused to be prepared plans,
specifications and form of contract together with
estimate of cost, which are now on file in the office
of the Town Clerk for public inspection for the con-
struction of said improvements, and said plans, speci-
fications and form of contract are deemed suitable for
the making of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, before said plans, specifications and form
of contract may be adopted, and contracts for the construc-
tion of the improvements entered into, it is necessary to
hold a public hearing and to advertise for bids:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF WELLSBURG, IOWA:
That this Council hereby determines that it is
necessary and advisable to construct a Sewage Treatment
Plant and outfall sewer in the manner set forth in the
plans, specifications and form of contract above referred
to, the cost thereof to be paid out of the proceeds derived
from the issuance and sale of Sewer Bonds as authorized
by Code Section 396.22, Code of Iowa 1954, as amended,
and from the issuance and sale of Sewer Revenue Bonds as
authorized by Chapter 394, Code of Iowa 1954, as amended:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing on said
plans, specifications and form of contract be held in the
Council Chambers in the Town Hall in Wellsbur Iowa, at

1958, at which time this Council will cons' er the option
of said plans, specifications and form of contract, and will
consider any objections offered thereto or to the making of
said improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that at the above time and
place this Council receive bids for the construction of
said improvements, and the Town Clerk is hereby instructed
to give notice of said hearing and of the taking of bids,
said notices to be published once each week for two
successive weeks, the first publication to be not less
than fifteen days from the date fixed for said hearing and
letting.
