URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY
MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 18, 2006
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Rick Fereday, Scott Findlay, Don Bailey and John Watkins, Bonnie Bertram, and
new member Robin Gerblick were present, Fred Drake was absent.

March 21 URA Meeting
Motion to approve by Bailey, second by Watkins, unanimous
APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURES
a. CH2M Hill Invoice
Motion to approve by Bailey, second by Watkins, unanimous
b. Appraisal Invoice
Motion to approve by Findley, second by Bailey, unanimous
URBAN RENEWAL PLAN IMPLEMENTATION
a. Design Development workshop
One issue that was discussed is the parking easement in front of the
Gerblick's property. A boardwalk should still be able to fit and have a continuous
walkway around the building. Parking for the Marina was also discussed.
b. Parking Lot Land Acquisition
Watkins will call the property owner to set up a meeting face to face to
discuss the acquisition. Findley, Watkins and Bertram will talk to the owner as
soon as possible. Fereday made a motion to send the three committee members
and will reimburse their expenses, seconded by Bailey, unanimous.
c. Bonds for Construction
This is tabled for the May agenda as the committee is in the process of
retaining the services of Bond counsel. Skinner Fawcett is one of the
recommendations for Bond Counsel. John Larson expressed that Bill Nichols,
City Attorney and Richard Skinner have a good working relationship.
d. Project Delivery
A discussion was held regarding timelines for project delivery.
