MINUTES

Guest: Jim Kleinkauf of the Hopkinton Independent
The Chair Rick Flannery called the meeting to order at 6:36 pm.
The minutes of the 8/29/18 meeting were approved, motion by Ken Weismantel and seconded by
Darlene Hayes. The vote was unanimous in favor.
Agenda/Discussion:
Chair asked if there was any community input, there was none.
The Chair and Vice Chair briefed the committee on a meeting they had at town hall on 9/6/18 with
Norman Khumalo, Town Manager, Danny McIntire, Phil O’Brien, Dave Daltorio and Elaine Lazarus to see
status updates on town reports on their growing needs including how they may be able to implement
space in Center School.
Discussed goal is to present CSRAT complete report to the Board of Selectmen on September 25th.
Bob Dobinski wanted to make note in the report that the Parks & Rec. is revenue positive to about
$25,000 utilizing the gym section of Center School in the current fiscal year.
Discussed Farewell to Center School event on 9/15, 11-2 and CSRAT will have a table in the gym. The
chair of CSRAT and chair of the school committee have coordinated together to facilitate this.
Reviewed revisions needed in CSRAT report and to email them to the chair by Thursday 9/13 and then
Jenn Devlin will format entire report.
Set next meeting for 9/18 at 6:30 pm in room 215 of town hall.
Motion to adjourn by Ken Weismantel and seconded by John Pavlov. The vote in favor was unanimous.
The meeting adjourned at 8:32pm.
