A) CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL Approval of the Workshop Minutes of June 13 and June 27 and Executive Session minutes of J une 13 and June 27. 1) CHATHAM SQUARE The developer is looking for input on their proposed purchase of the Chatham Square project from Pulte Homes. Chatham Square is approximately 145 acres and the site was approved for 218 single -family homes and 104 town homes. The subject property is located on 127th Street, west of Heggs Road and north of Grande Park. 2 ) KB HOME - POLO CLUB ON 119TH STREET The developer is looking for input from the Village Board on a proposal to develop the Na perville Polo Club. The subject site contains approximately 110 acres and is located in unincorporated Will County. The applicant is proposing a total of 153 single -family homes and 135 town home units. The subject site is located on 119th Street, east of Route 59. 3) HERRON POINT The developer is pursuing redevelopment of the southeast corner of U.S. Route 30 and Renwick Road. Staff and the Plan Commission are unanimously recommending approval of the requested special use for planne d unit development and plat of consolidation. Due to extreme time constraints, the developer is seeking input from the Village Board at this time. Upon favorable direction from the Board, staff and the developer are asking for the Village Attorney to draft the ordinance for special use approval for the July 18th Village Board meeting. 4 ) TRANSPORTATION SESSION As transportation has and will continue to be an extremely important issue to the community, staff will provide an update on the current status of several improvement projects. The proposed design and construction schedules for Drauden Road, Route 59, Route 126, 143 rd Street, and the Renwick Road Bridge will be discussed. Staff will also present to the Board some of the lo ng range transportation improvement plans for discussion and consideration. Although many of theses projects are conceptual in nature it is important for the Board to establish certain policies that will allow staff to move forward on the respecti ve improvements. Additionally, as “Transportation” is a significant component within the Comprehensive Plan, Board direction is needed to allow staff to complete the required exhibits that will be incorporated within the new plan and ultimately fol lowed in the future.
