A) CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL/PLEDGE 1) LAND PURCHASE Consider a motion to authorize the Village President to authorize a contract t o purchase approximately 57.22 acres of land. B) ADJOURN THE CONTINUED MEETING COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE WORKSHOP A) CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL B ) Approval of the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop and Executive Session of September 11 , 2006 . C ) P RESIDENTIAL COMMENTS D ) TRUSTEES COMMENTS E ) BUSINESS MEETING 1) I -55 TOUR PRESEN T ATION Staff will present the August 3, 2006 presentation conducted by the Villages of Romeoville and Bolingbrook to the Federal Highway Administration. 2) 143 RD STR EET UPDATE (PHASE 1 ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS) In November 2005, the Board authorized an engineering contract with Crawford, Murphy, and Tilly, Inc. to complete the Phase 1 engineering for the 143 rd Street extension. As part of the contract, CMT was to provide an interim project update to the Board. This presentation is basically equivalent to that which was presented to the public at the August 23, 2006 Public Hearing. CMT will present a project update that will include roadway alternatives, ComEd issues/alternatives, environment concerns, scheduling, and project cost estimates. 3) SETTLERS’ PARK RESTROOM FACILITIES Staff is seeking direction from the Village Board on how to proceed with this project.
