LOCKPORT STREET 7:00 P.M. A) CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL/PLEDGE B) Invocation By Reverend Chere Bates, St. Thomas Episcopal, followed by a moment of silence in ho nor of the 5 th anniversary of September 11. C) Approval of the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop of August 28 , 2006 . D) P RESIDENTIAL COMMENTS E) TRUSTEES COMMENTS F) BUSINESS MEETING 1) DISCUSSION W ITH PLAN COMMISSION The Board has reques ted a joint meeting with the Plan Commission as an opportunity to keep lines of communication open and to exchange ideas. 2 ) PLAINFIELD RIVERFRONT MASTER PLAN The next step in the Riverfront Development is the creation of the master plan. A Vision Docum ent has been developed and the master plan will allow for more detail on specific improvements, phasing, and costs. A Hitchcock Design Group representative will be present to outline the scope of services for the development of the master plan. 3) BUSINESS PARK/OFFICE CAMPUS The Board requested discussion on the creation of an office park. The Plainfield Economic Partnership has been invited to attend. Staff and PEP are looking for Board direction regarding what is envisioned as the type of users, location , and recruitment techniques. 4) WATER AND SEWER EXTENSION FOR PLAINFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT At the direction of the Mayor and Board of Trustees, Staff has formulated a cost estimate to extend water and sanitary sewer utilities to serve the Plainfield Schoo l District’s proposed high school, middle school, and elementary school buildings within the northeastern section of the community. During the development of this estimate the District’s Staff was consulted in an effort to ensure the accuracy of the final document. The purpose of this evening ’s meeting, in part, is to review the enclosed estimate and continue the ongoing discussion as it relates to serving the school sites as well as the greater area. James A.
