B) PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS C) TRUSTEES COMMENTS 1) BUSINESS TRANSITION DISTRICT DISCUSSION There has been interest from owners in the possibility of ex panding the potential location for Business Transition District. In 2003 the Board designated that BTD was only allowed along Route 59 from Route 126 south to Renwick Road, Resolution 1389. That area was expanded in 2004 to include Route 30 from Re nwick Road south to Spangler Road. Interest continues along other areas such as Route 126, Renwick Road, and other areas of Route 30. Staff is looking for Board direction if other areas would be considered for BTD. 2 ) FEES FOR REDEVELOPMENT Staf f is presenting a proposed policy for the charging and/or crediting of development and impact fees associated with redevelopment, primarily residential redevelopment ("tear - downs"). The frequency of residential tear -downs has increased in recent tim es. Staff is looking to formalize a fee policy in anticipation of continued redevelopment activity in the future.
