A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
FREEWAY AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACTING BY AND THROUGH ITS
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, DIVISION OF HIGH-
WAYS, CONSENTING TO THE CLOSING OF CITY STREETS,
RELOCATION OF CITY STREETS, CONSTRUCTION OF
FRONTAGE ROADS, ETC., ON ROUTE 91 FREEWAY, ROAD
07 -LA -91, BETWEEN THE LOS ANGELES CITY LIMIT AT
FIGUEROA STREET AND AVALON BOULEVARD, SAID
AGREEMENT SUPERSEDING A FREEWAY AGREEMENT
DATED OCTOBER 28, 1963
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of Carson be, and
he is, hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf of said City of
Carson, a municipal corporation, a certain freeway agreement, substantially
in compliance with the form herewith submitted and hereby approved, between
the City of Carson and the State of California, acting by and through its
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, whereby the City consents
to the closing of certain City streets, the relocation of City streets, con-
struction of frontage roads, etc., on Route 91 Freeway, Road 07 -LA -91,
between the Los Angeles City Limit at Figueroa Street and Avalon Boulevard,
said agreement superseding a freeway agreement dated October 28, 1963.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this resolution by the City Council of the City of Carson, California.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 24th day of March, 1969.

I, MARILYN R. CORTINA, City Clerk of the City of Carson, Cali-
fornia, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of said City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 69-31,
was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular
meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 24th day of March, 1969,
and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:

Marbu t .
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
