LOCKPORT STREET 7:00 P.M. A) CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL/PLEDGE B) App roval of the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Workshop and Executive Session held on November 26 , 2007 . C) PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS D) TRUSTEES COMMENTS E) BUSINESS MEETING 1) NATIVE PLANTING PROGRAM In response to recent discussions had by the Boar d in regards to ecologically friendly practices, Jack Pizzo with Pizzo & Associates and Jim Kleinwachter with the Conservation Foundation will be presenting the Board with information on native plantings and the benefits and beauty they bring to a communit y. Jack Pizzo offers knowledge on the creation and restoration of natural areas, their maintenance and feasibility. Jim Kleinwachter offers knowledge on what individuals can do on their properties, along with information on native plants and their impact s on wildlife habitats and water quality issues. This seminar is intended to educate the Board and the Plainfield Community about native plants, and answer any lingering questions. Planting native plants is one of the first steps the Village of Plainfiel d can take to ensure the Village’s sustainability 2) STORMWATER REVIEW PROCESS Baxter and Woodman will give a presentation on how they review stormwater items required/requested through the development process , how they work with the developers and thei r engineers to satisfy the these requirements, and their process of incorporating all of the requirements as they relate to Village Ordinances.
