C) PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS D) TRUSTEES COMMENTS E) WORKSHOP MEETING 1) ANNEXATION CONSIDERATION Public Safety, Police Department and Emergency Manage ment Agency, presents on going concerns about specific area of unincorporated areas of Plainfield. While these instances are limited, the impact is significant. Staff seeks direction to address this public safety concern. 2 ) 2008/2009 BUDGET UPDATE The current economic climate and its impact on the current municipal budget is unique and more challenging compare d to recent history. Unlike previous years, staff will present a mid -fiscal year operations update about the current challenges for fiscal year 2 008 -2009. Per Board direction, staff will also seek direction for the next fiscal year prior to scheduled budget meetings. F) ANY OTHER BUSINESS James A.
