C) PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS D) TRUSTEES COMMENTS E) WORKSHOP MEETING 1) T RANSPORTATI ON IMPROVEMENTS UPDATE As improving traffic safety and reducing congestion is one of our primary objectives, several major capital improvement projects are in the planning, design, or construction phase. While several of the major roadways within our community are under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Villag e continues to work collectively with all of the other agencies as well as developers to provide long -term solutions to our transportation needs.
