This is a follow-up from our July 25, 2023 correspondence regarding the fence on your south
property line. Our records indicate that when it was replaced no building permit was obtained, and
we asked you to assist us in determining who did the work so we could require them to obtain a
permit on your behalf. It has been two weeks and we have yet to receive a response from you.
Please be advised that performing work without a permit is a violation of Town Code § 66-101 at
Chapter 66. Zoning; Article IV. Administration; Division 2. Permits; and reads as follows:
Sec. 66-101. - Required prior to construction.
No structure shall be constructed in the town prior to the issuance of a building
permit by the planning and building administrator acting on behalf of or as an agent
of the town.
This is to be considered official notice to correct this violation by obtaining a permit within twenty-
one (21) days of receipt of this notice. Failing to comply with this order shall result in an
appearance before the Special Magistrate and further action as provided in Chapter 2, Article III,
Division 2 of the Town Code.
