1989 Airport Improvement Project Status Report: Staff reviewed
the project status and advised that the construction period was
June 19th to July 27th.
Civil Air Patrol Exercise: Lyn Clark invited the Committee to
observe the Civil Air Patrol exercise the weekend of June 17th
and 18th.
Next Meeting: The difficulty of regular summer meetings was
discussed and the Committee determined to meet July 12th and
perhaps, pending business, cancel the August meeting.
City Code Review: The Committee reviewed the amendments and
corrections they recommended at their May work session and asked
that the City Attorney and Police Chief address the proper
language and procedure for removing vehicles (Section 1-12-3),
costs and penalties.
With these changes, Mr. Williams moved to recommend to the City
Council that Chapter 12 of the City Code be amended as suggested
in the draft. Mr. Colburn seconded and the motion carried
unanimously.
(Staff Note: A recent Ordinance, No. 547, addressed the Minimum
Standards and should be incorporated in the revision.)
Without further business, the meeting adjourned.
