A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON APPOINTING SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF A SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS FOR THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO BE HAD
AND TAKEN UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE IMPROVE-
MENT ACT OF 1911, DIVISION 7 OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
(ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 69-3)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson,
California, that E. Fredrick Bien be, and he is hereby, appointed to act
as Superintendent of Streets for the proposed improvement of South Dolores
Street between Javelin and 213th Street, and 213th Street between Dolores
and Bolsa (,Assessment District No. 69-3) in said City of Carson, to be had
and taken under the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911", being
Division 7 o the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California;
and that said E. Fredrick Bien is hereby authorized and directed to perform
all of the duties imposed upon the Superintendent of Streets by Division 7,
including but not limited to the signing of contracts and assessments, and
all of the (provisions of Division 7 applicable to the Superintendent of
Streets shall apply to said person so appointed.

I, MARILYN R. CORTINA, City Clerk of the City of Carson,
California, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City
Council of said City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution
No. 69-99, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at
a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 4th day of
August , 1969, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
