A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 69-139 IN THE
MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF KINARD
AVENUE (CARSON ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 69-5)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson on November 17, 1969,
adopted Resolution No. 69-139 instituting proceedings, acknowledging waiver of debt
limit investigation proceedings and directing preparation of resolution of intention (Carson
Assessment District No. 69-5); and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 69-139 sets forth incorrectly in Section 4
thereof that proceedings for the improvement shall be conducted under and in accordance
with provisions of Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California;
and
WHEREAS, Section 4 of Resolution No. 69-139 should have read Division
7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Califomia rather than Division 12.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. That Section 4 of Resolution No. 69-139 be amended to read:
The proceedings for the improvement shall be conducted under and in
accordance with provisions of Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of Colifomia.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that
the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 69-148, was duly and regularly adopted by the
City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
1st day of December, 1969, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Yamamoto, Smith, Marbut, Clark
and Junk.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
