A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
CARSON AND THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE
RAILWAY COMPANY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME (CROSSING NO.
2H-24.8)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. That the agreement for the installation of automatic gates at the
Figueroa Street crossing of Santa Fe's Harbor Branch Track designated by the PUC as Crossing
No. 2H-24.8, between the City of Carson and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, is approved as presented; and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign and the
Clerk is directed to certify said agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 1970.

I, MARILYN R. CORTINA, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that
the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 70-048, was duly and regularly adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held
on the 6th day of April, 1970, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Yamamoto, Smith, Marbut, Clark
and Junk.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
