A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH
T. A. SHINN & C. C. RUSSELL CO.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, that T. A. Shinn & C. C. Russell, registered civil engineers
be, and they are hereby appointed as Engineer for the doing of all necessary engineering in
connection with the construction of improvements on Vera Street between 213th Street and
Carson Street, in the City of Carson, California; (Cash Contract No. 15)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the employment of the said T. A. Shinn
& C. C. Russell Co., shall be as provided in the attached agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk thereof be, and
they are hereby, authorized to sign and attest said agreement employing the said T. A. Shinn
& C. C. Russell, for said improvements.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May , 1970.

I, MARILYN R. CORTINA, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 70-061, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 4th day of May 1970, and that the same was so passed and adopted
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Junk, Leahy, Marbut, Spence and
Smith.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
