A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON APPOINTING ENGINEER OF WORK AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson that T. A. Shinn
& Associates be, and is hereby appointed Engineer of Work for the doing of all the necessary
engineering work and exercising all of the functions provided for the office of Permit
Engineer in connection with the construction of improvements along Francisco Street between
Figueroa Street and Main Street, and along the west side of Main Street from approximately
300 feet northerly of Francisco Street to approximately 300 feet southerly of Francisco
Street; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the employment of said T. A. Shinn &
Associates shall be as provided by agreement by and between the City of Carson and T. A.
Shinn & Associates; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City
of Carson be, and they, are hereby, authorized to sign and attest the agreement employing
the said firm of T. A. Shinn & Associates as Permit Engineer for and in behalf of the City
of Carson in said improvement.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 12th day of December, 1970

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the
foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 70-154, was duly and regularly adopted by the City
Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 12th
day of December, 1970 and that the same was so passed by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Junk, Marbut, Smith, and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Spence
