A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 71-024,
A RESOLUTION ALLOWING CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
NUMBERS 4979 THROUGH 5096
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson did on February 16, 1971,
adopt Resolution No. 71-024, a resolution allowing claims and demands numbering 4979
through 5096; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 71-024 listed the following warrants: 4979, 4987,
4988, and 4989; and the amounts of these warrants totalling $38,399.00 was incorrectly
added to the total of all other warrants; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the correct totals for the February 16, 1971,
warrant register be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Section 1 . That the total of the demands and claims set forth in
Resolution No. 71-024 be, and hereby is, corrected to the amount of $45,848.12 by
subtracting from the previously approved total of $84,247.12 the sum of $38,399.00
which represents the total of warrants number 4979, 4987, 4988, and 4989.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of March, 1971

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-034, was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and
regularly held on the 1st day of March, 1971 , and that the same was so
passed and adopted by tF—eTol]owing vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Junk, Leahy, Marbut, Spence and Smith.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
