A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF WORK PERFORMED
BY THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER
27 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, ASSESSING THE
PROPERTY OWNER'S COST OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF IM-
PROVEMENT AGAINST A CERTAIN PARCEL OF PROPERTY,
PROVIDING THAT IF SAID ASSESSMENT ISNOT PAID WITHIN
FIVE DAYS OF ITS CONFIRMATION IT IS TO BE A SPECIAL
ASSESSMENT AGAINST SAID PARCEL OF PROPERTY AND
PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION OF SAID ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Carson has filed his
Report of Work performed under Chapter 27 of Part 3, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways
Code - Improvement Act of 1911, on the Project identified on the attached Report of Walk
Improvement on 184th Street; and
WHEREAS, this Report indicates that all of the improvement constructed under
Chapter 27 by the City of Carson on said Project was completed pursuant to Chapter 27.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the aforesaid Report of Work here-
tofore filed be confirmed; and
THAT the property owner's cost of constructing the improvement at the locations
described in the Report is as indicated in said Report; and
THAT such cost is hereby assessed against the parcel of property described in
said Report in the manner and amount indicated therein; and
THAT said assessment against said parcel of property in said amount, if not
paid within five days after its confirmation, shall constitute a special assessment against said
parcel of property and shallbe a lien on said parcel of property in accordance with Section
5890 of the Streets and Highways Code; and
THAT said assessment on said parcel of property shall be collected in accordance
with Section 5893 of the Streets and Highways Code and is to be added to the next regular bill
for taxes levied against said parcel of property.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-039, was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and
regularly held on the 15th day of March, 1971 , and that the same was so passed
and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Junk, Leahy, Spence and Smith.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Marbut.
