A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING
AS TO 219TH STREET BEING CARSON ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT NO. 69-4
WHEREAS, proceedings have been instituted for this improvement under the
provisions of Division 12, Streets and Highways Code (Municipal Improvement Act of 1913);
and
WHEREAS, the Resolution of Intention for this improvement was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Carson, State of California, on the 3rd day of May ,
1971; and
WHEREAS, the Report called for in said Resolution of Intention has been duly
prepared and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Carson; and
WHEREAS, said Report has been presented to and duly considered by this
City Council on the 3rd day of May, 1971
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 . That the 7th day of June, 1971 , at the hour of
7:30 P.M. of said day is the day and t e hour, and the C am ers o the City Council
located at 21T9 South Avalon Boulevard, Carson, California, is the place. fixed by this
Council for hearing protests in relation to the proposed improvement.
Section 2. That the Clerk of the City Council is hereby directed to give
notice of said hearing y causing to be conspicuously posted on all open streets within the
district, at not more than 300 feet apart on each street so posted, but not less than three in
all, notices of the passage of the Resolution of Intention and of this resolution, all in
accordance with the provisions of said Division 12.
Section 3. That the Clerk of the City Council is hereby directed to give
notice of said hearing and of the passage of the Resolution of Intention and of this resolution
by causing such notice to be published by two successive insertions in the Carson -Dominguez
News, a newspaper published and/or circulated in the City of Carson, which is hereby
designated by said Council for that purpose, all in accordance with the provisions of said
Division 12.
Section 4. That the Clerk of the City Council is hereby directed to mail
notices of saidearl ing and the adoption of the Resolution of Intention and of the filing of the
Report to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed, whose names and addresses
appear on the last equalized assessment roll for county taxes prior thereto or as known to the
Clerk, all in accordance with the provisions of said Division 12.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that
the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-066, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 3rd day of May, 1971, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Junk, Marbut, Smith, Spence and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
