A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO,
ADOPTING INCREASED FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR BUILDING PERMITS AND
RELATED INSPECTIONS AND FEES, PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS;
AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2-1-130 of the McCall City Code grants the authority to the City
Council to establish a schedule of permit fees charged by the City related to building; and
WHEREAS, the City Council last adopted a schedule of such fees on May 12, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City of McCall building permit fees have been equivalent to the building
permit fees charged by the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety's (Idaho DBS)
Building Permit Fee Schedule, and Idaho DBS has updated their fee schedule for 2011;
and
WHEREAS, the current fee schedule contains inconsistencies between McCall's and
Idaho DBS's fee schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City's building permit fees should match the fees of Idaho DBS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MCCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1: That the following schedule of fees be adopted for all applications for
building permits, related building plan review, reinspections, and the use of outside
consultants for specialty plan checking, inspection or both:

$1.00 to $500.00
$23.50
$501.00 to $2,000.00
$23.50 for the first $500.00 plus $3.05
for each additional $100.00 or fraction
thereof, to and including $2,000.00
$2,001.00 to $25,000.00
$69.25 for the first $2,000.00 plus $14.00
for each additional $1,000.00, or fraction
thereof, to and including $25,000.00
$25,001.00 to $50,000.00
$391.75 for the first $25,000.00 plus
$10.10 for each additional $1,000.00, or
fraction thereof, to and including
$50,000.00
$50,001.00 to $100,000.00
$643.75 for the first $50,000.00 plus
$7.00 for each additional $1,000.00, or
fraction thereof, to and including
$100,000.00

$5.60 for each additional $1,000.00, or

Section 2: After its passage and approval, this resolution and schedule of permit fees
is effective May 1, 2012.
