A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF
CARSON AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PRINTING OF
THE 1970-71 CARSON ANNUAL REPORT
WHEREAS, bids were sought and received for the printing of 31,500 copies
of the Carson Annual Report; and
WHEREAS, said bids were publicly opened at Carson City Hall on July 19,
1971; and
WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid was received from Jacobsen Printers,
21839 South Avalon Boulevard, Carson, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carson:
Section I. That a contract for the printing of 31,500 copies of the Carson
1970-71 Annua Rel— portUe awarded to
JACOBSEN PRINTERS.
Section 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the contract.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1971.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-112, was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and
regularly held on the 2nd day of August, 1971, and that the same was so passed and
adopted by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Junk, Smith and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Marbut.
