A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT IN THE MATTER
OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS IN 219th
STREET (CITY OF CARSON ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 71-1)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson, at its meeting of June
21, 1971, adopted Resolution No. 71-092, thereby ordering the preparation of a diagram
showing the assessment district for the construction of sanitary sewers in 219th Street; and
WHEREAS, said diagram has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Carson and represents an estimate by the Engineer of Work of costs and expenses for the
proposed improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly given notice in the manner provided by
law for the filing of said assessment and of the time set for hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, having received all protests and having heard
all persons desiring to be heard at said hearing, is now satisfied as to the proper spreading
of the assessments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said assessment and diagram, the
proceedings leading up to the same, and all acts and determinations of all officers of the
City of Carson in relation to the work proposed and to the said assessment and the diagram
attached thereto, be, and the same hereby are ratified and confirmed; and the City
Treasurer is hereby ordered and directed to attach to said assessment a warrant in the manner
and form provided by law, said warrant bearing date of this Resolution, and the City
Treasurer is further ordered to collect payment thereon.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-12, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 16th day of August, 1971, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Junk, Marbut, Smith and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
