A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION
OF COUNCILMAN JOHN L. JUNK FROM SAID CITY COUNCIL,
AND DECLARING THE OCCURRENCE OF A VACANCY IN THE
OFFICE OF SAID COUNCILMAN THEREBY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson, California,
that the resignation of John L. Junk from said City Council, heretofore tendered, be
and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of Carson.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a result of said resignation, the City
Council hereby declares that a vacancy has occurred in the office of City Councilman
formerly held by John L. Junk.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 13th day of September 1971.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is four;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-131, was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and
regularly held on the 13th day of September 1971, and that the same was so passed and
adopted by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Marbut, Smith and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
