A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ADOPTING AN ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE ADMINIS-
TRATIVE EXPENSES OF THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY,
ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
ADMINISTRATIVE FUND, AND APPROPRIATING MONEY THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California,
provides that the legislative body of a community, may appropriate to the community's
Redevelopment Agency, amounts deemed necessary for the administrative expenses and
overhead of the Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law provided that the legislative
body of a community may adopt an annual budget for the administrative expenses of the
Agency, and appropriate funds therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carson as follows:
Section I. There is hereby adopted as the annual budget for the
administrative expenses of the Carson Redevelopment Agency, from the date of this resolution
to the close of the City's fiscal year on June 30, 1972, the budget attached hereto as
Exhibit A and made a part hereof.
Section 2. There is hereby established a Community Redevelopment
Agency administrative und, to be kept in the treasury of the City of Carson in a special
fund known as the "Community Redevelopment Agency Administrative Fund," and there is
hereby appropriated to such fund the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the adminis-
trative expenses of the Carson Red eve lopmert Agency. Warrants drawn on such fund shall be
executed by the Chairman of the Redevelopment Agency, together with the Executive Director
and Treasurer of the Agency. Said funds shall constitute a loan to the Agency as provided for
in the Agreement for cooperation between the City and Agency.
Section 3. The Carson Redevelopment Agency shall file with the City
Council a detai edl�report of all its transactions, including a statement of all revenue and
expenditures, semi-annually, and on or before June 1st of each calendar year, shall file
with the City Council a proposed budget for the Agency for the next fiscal year beginning
July 1, and ending on June 30 thereafter.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is four;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-158, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 21st day of October, 1971, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Marbut, Smith and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
