EMERGENCY MEETING MINUTES
DECEMBER 5, 2011
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Chavez called the City Council Emergency Meeting to order at 11:40 a.m. in the
Emergency Operations Center (City Hall Community Room) located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive,
Temple City.
PRESENT:
ABSENT:
Councilmember -Blum, Vizcarra, Chavez
Councilmember - Sternquist, Yu
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Pulido, City Clerk Flandrick
Councilmember Blum moved to excuse Councilmember Sternquist and Mayor Pro Tem Yu for
cause, seconded by Councilmember Vizcarra and unanimously carried.
2. ACTION ITEM
A. CONTINUATION OF DECLARATION OF LOCAL EMERGENCY
As recommended by City Manager Pulido, the City Council concurred to continue to
declare a local emergency for the City of Temple City and to extend operation of its
Emergency Operations Center until December 8, 2011, so moved by Councilmember
Blum, seconded by Councilmember Vizcarra and unanimously carried by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmember -Blum, Vizcarra, Chavez
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember - Sternquist, Yu
ABSTAIN: Councilmember -None
3. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council Emergency Meeting was adjourned at 11:42 a.m.
