A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AWARDING BID FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
BONDS IN THE MATTER OF CARSON ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
IMPROVEMENT 71-1
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer of the City of Carson did, pursuant to order of
the City Council, on the 10th day of November, 1971, publicly receive, examine and
declare all sealed bids for the purchase of bonds to be issued in accordance with the
provisions of Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code (Municipal Improvement Act
of 1913), and Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, in the matter of Carson
Improvement No. 71-1 (219th Street); and
WHEREAS, due notice inviting bids and setting a date for the opening of
bids has been duly posted as prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson did, on the 16th day of
November, 1971, publicly receive, examine and declare said bids as reported by the City
Administrator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carson, to -wit:
Section 1. Acceptance and Rejection of Bids. That the City Council
of the City of Carson hereby awards the purchase of said bonds to
S. RAPOPORT
at the price named in the bid of said bidder on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City; and it hereby does reject all other bids submitted for the purchase of said bonds.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 1971.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is four; that the
foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-170, was duly and regularly adopted by the
City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on
the 16th day of November, 1971, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Marbut, Smith and
Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
