A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECU-
TION OF A CONTRACT FOR GRANT TO ACQUIRE AND/OR
DEVELOP LAND FOR OPEN -SPACE PURPOSES NO. CALIF
OSC 417 (G) BY AND BETWEEN CITY OF CARSON AND
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Carson as follows:
Section 1. The pending proposed Contract for Grant to Acquire And/Or
Develop Land For Open -Space Purposes No. Calif OSC 417 (G) is hereby in all respects
approved.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Carson is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Contract No. Calif OSC 417 (G) in two (2) counterparts on behalf of
the City Council of the City of Carson, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to impress and attest the official seal of the Public Body on each such counter-
part and to forward such counterparts to the Department of Housing and Urban Development,
for execution on behalf of the Government together with such other documents relative to
the approval and execution of such counterparts as may be required by the Government.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 1971.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the 4ole number of members of the City, Council of said City is four,
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 71-179, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
heldon the 6th day of December, 1971, and that the same was so passed and adopted by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Marbut, Smith and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
