A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AWARDING A CONTRACT TO SOUTH BAY UNDER-
GROUND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF STORM DRAIN FACILITIES AT GREENLEAF BOULEVARD AND
CENTRAL AVENUE (CITY OF CARSON CASH CONTRACT NO.28)
WHEREAS, South Bay Undbrground Construction Company has submitted a
proposal to the Director of Public Works to construct storm drain facilities at Greenleaf
Boulevard and Central Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works deems the acceptance of said proposal
to be in the best interests of the City of Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section I. Acceptance of Proposal. That the City Council of the City of
Carson hereby awards t e contract for doing said work to
SOUTH BAY UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
Section 2. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public Works is
directed to prepare— t1 a contract, and the Mayor is authorized to enter into the contract
subject to its approval by the City Attorney.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of March, 1972.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 72-051, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 20th day of March, 1972, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Marbut, Smith and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
