A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AWARDING A CONTRACT TO SOUTH BAY
UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A STORM DRAIN LATERAL AND
CATCH BASIN IN MAIN STREET AT WALNUT (CITY OF
CARSON, CASH CONTRACT NO. 58)
WHEREAS, South Bay Underground Construction Company has submitted a
proposal to the Director of Public Works to construct a storm drain lateral and a catch basin
in Main Street at Walnut for a total price of $850.00, including all materials and labor
necessary for said construction; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works deems the acceptance of said proposal
to be in the best interests of the City of Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 . Acceptance of Proposal. That the City Council of the City of
Carson hereby awards tie contract for doing said work to
SOUTH BAY UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
Section 2. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public Works is directed
to prepare the contract, and the Mayor is authorized to enter into the contract subject to its
approval by the City Attorney.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of May, 1972

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 72-081, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 1st day of May 1972, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Smith, Yamamoto and Marbut
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
